FAQ

  • ANIMAL is a queer bar and everyone is welcome. Please be kind to one another. Do not bring any homophobia, transphobia, ageism, racism, sexism, violence or other discriminatory language or actions to our space.

Please notify any of our staff if you experience any discriminatory or violent behavior.

Additionally, please be aware of pickpockets - leave your valuables at home and keep your cell phones/wallets in your front pocket. We recommend utilizing our coat check when it’s open. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • We hold lost items for two weeks. After two weeks, items left in lost and found will be donated to a local charity.

Wallets / phones / IDs / high value items will be dealt with on a case by case basis and we will do our best to reunite these items with their owners.

We ask you to come into the bar during business hours to inquire about lost items (preferably not during peak weekend hours). You can also report your lost item here so we have your contact information if it turns up.

  • You must be 21+ to enter. You must have a valid ID to verify your age. Driver’s License, Passport, and Government issued State IDs are acceptable.

On nights when there’s a cover, we accept cash, cards and Apple Pay. We do not have an ATM on premises.

  • We gladly welcome birthday gatherings that are not obtrusive to the vibe of other bar guests. We don’t reserve tables, but you’re welcome to send someone over on the earlier side to grab a spot for you and your guests.

We kindly ask, no birthday cakes or food, and no balloons and other party decorations.

Finally, be sure to clean up after your group so we’re not adding more work for our bar staff.

  • As a queer bar, we generally do not like to close our doors to our community for private events. That said, we’ll consider each event inquiry individually. Please let us know more about what you’re envisioning.

  • For press inquiries please contact - mholcomb@enhaus.net

If you’re interested in shooting at ANIMAL, please let us know about your shoot.

  • ANIMAL PRINT is a queer cultural zine, conceived and designed in partnership with our dear friends at Vacation.

Like the bar, it is a canvas.

Designed to connect and exalt our community - it’s a new venue to express the queer experience through art, activism, culture, fashion & all forms of LGBTQ+ excellence.

We’re always looking to meet writers, artists, makers, illustrators & creatives as well as sponsors to contribute on future issues and other fun projects. Please get in touch.

  • We host queer makers markets throughout the year as another way to connect and lift up our community. If you’re interested in participating please let us know more about you.

  • We’re so fortunate to receive many DJ requests, and we can’t book everyone. Nonetheless, we love discovering new music and queer talent. If you’re interested in playing please share a bit about yourself and some links to give us a sense of your sound.
