When you submit one of our forms — the mailing-list signup, or an inquiry such as a DJ, event, birthday, press, lost-and-found, market, or ANIMAL PRINT request — we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, city, and any message or event details you provide.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry and, if you signed up for our mailing list, to send you infrequent updates about Animal. We do not sell your personal information.

How it’s stored and shared

Form submissions are recorded in a Google Sheet and emailed to our staff so we can follow up. Google acts as our service provider for this. We don’t share your information with anyone else except as needed to operate the site or as required by law.

Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you’ve shared with us by emailing info@animal.nyc. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and visitors in the EU/UK (GDPR) have additional rights over their personal data, including the rights to access and deletion — contact us and we’ll honor them.

Data retention

We keep inquiry submissions only as long as needed to respond and for our records, and mailing-list details until you unsubscribe.

Animal is a 21+ venue. This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
